Problem

Hey Akintunde,

We need a website for Alo Studio. Right now, we don’t have an online presence that reflects who we are or what we offer. We want you to create a website for us just like the last one, we want something clean, professional, and easy to navigate - without it feeling generic.

It’s also really important that the site looks great and works smoothly across all devices, especially mobile and tablet. We’ve noticed that a lot of our potential customers browse on their phones, so if the experience isn’t seamless, we risk losing them.

We’re looking for a website that not only looks good but also feels like a digital home that showcases who we are, what we do, and why we’re the right choice. It should feel unique to our brand, be easy to update when needed and it should create a strong, lasting impression.

Solution

My goal was to build a website for Alo Studios using WordPress, to create a site that truly represented the brand, and to deliver a seamless and engaging user experience while ensuring the website was fully optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile views.

From structuring intuitive navigation to refining visuals and content, I made sure the site not only looked great but also functioned effortlessly across all devices. This meant optimizing layouts, fine-tuning responsiveness, and ensuring fast load times to keep visitors engaged.

Beyond aesthetics, I helped the company stand out by aligning the design with its brand identity - using its typography choice, color schemes, and imagery to create a cohesive, professional, and memorable digital presence.

I delivered a user-friendly, and fully responsive website that effectively communicates the company’s value and strengthens its online presence.

Processes and Workflow

When tackling this project, I used a structured yet flexible design process to ensure the best outcome:

Research & Planning - I started by understanding the company’s goals, target audience, and brand identity. This involved discussions with stakeholders to clarify expectations and key features. They sent me a document on Notion that detailed their needs and the business generally which I used as a guide in my research.
Ideation - Before diving into design, we had some layout and flow review sessions with the stakeholders via Zoom, where we discussed which layout from the options I provided best fit their interests.
Design & Customization - Using WordPress, I built a fully responsive site, carefully selecting fonts, colors, and images that aligned with the brand.
Optimization for All Devices - I fine-tuned the layout for desktop, tablet, and mobile views, making sure the design adapted seamlessly across different screen sizes.
Performance & SEO Enhancements - I optimized images to improve load speed and implemented basic SEO practices to boost visibility and ensure a smooth browsing experience.
Testing & Feedback - Before launch, we tested the site’s functionality with the stakeholders, ensuring all links, forms, and interactions worked perfectly. I also gathered client feedback to make final refinements.
Launch & Support - Once approved, I deployed the website and provided post-launch support, ensuring a smooth transition and guiding the client on managing their new site.
